For those interested in Religious Freedom issues, I recommend the Religious Liberty Lecture and Conference being held at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney, on September 17-18, 2026.
On Thursday evening Sept 17 the Religious Liberty lecture will be delivered by former Head of School at UND, Emeritus Professor Michael Quinlan, from 5:30. It is entitled, ‘State interests and the freedom of thought, conscience and religion of individuals in NSW’. A full day conference will be held on Friday Sept 18 with a number of speakers from different faith traditions.
The events will be held at St Benedict’s Hall (behind St Benedict’s Church), The University of Notre Dame Australia, 104 Broadway, Chippendale, NSW. RSVP by Thursday 10 September 2026 to l&bevents@nd.edu.au (Please specify any dietary requirements.)
